This museum quality large cabinet specimen is a complete floater! Excavated from the Dongchuan Cu ore field from May to June 2021, these new combo specimens WOW the Chinese mineral collecting world. Vivid blue, sparkly microcrystals of Azurite pseudomorph after Quartz and almost encrusted the entire surface of the Quartz cluster. And if that isn’t enough, this masterpiece shows dramatic Goethite and Chrysocolla intergrown, it’s so colorful and attractive! This is remarkably well composed, well balanced and startling colorful specimen. Obtained directly from the miner’s home on-site, beautiful and undamaged pieces of good size are extremely rare. It is a magnificent specimen of mineral history, from time and place. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
