A dramatic two-sided large cabinet specimen that is composed as if a piece of art, with the Azurite crystals aesthetically scattered on a green matrix of fibrous Malachite. The Liufengshan Mine has produced a variety of beautiful secondary copper minerals over the years and this is absolutely an astonishing Azurite Malachite piece! Excavated in 2018, countless gem quality Azurite crystals which display an attractive electric-blue color beautifully perched onto this mounded, slightly elongated Malachite matrix, mesmerizing! They are very sparkly with a prismatic tabular crystal occurrence. The carpet of gem Azurite crystals has grown to extend to the other side of the piece resembling streams of rivers, contrast nicely against the grass-green Malachite matrix. Associated with a thin crust of bright royal blue colored Azurite micro crystals which partially pseudomorph after Malachite, this is such a captivating and noteworthy Azurite Malachite specimen of a large cabinet size and supreme quality. For added interest, deep brown to metallic black colored Goethite pseudomorph after Malachite is observed on the edge of the matrix, impressive! Comes with a high quality copper-wired displays stand.
