Celadonite tinted Stilbite and Quartz var. Chalcedony from Sakur, India
Dimension: 11.5cm x 8.8cm x 4cm
Weight: 217g
Locality: Sakur, Ahmadnagar district, Maharashtra, India
The highlight of this museum quality specimen is the way in which the emerald-green Celadonite tinted the curving, bowtie shaped Stilbite crystals. This is by far the most seldom seen (or unseen!) specimen of this kind from a special, small 2020 pocket that produced only a handful of specimens. The peachy orange, pearly Stilbite crystals exhibits gorgeous lustre and slightly cleaved surfaces. The back of the piece is made of numerous individual crystals of emerald-green Celadonite coated Quartz var. Chalcedony in a mesmerizing spherical shape, and they are very sparkly, so stunning!
The geometry and aesthetics of this very significant large cabinet specimen measuring 11.5cm across are phenomenal, and it’s even better in person. It is the first unique and contemporary style of the materials from Sakur, Maharashtra, India, making this easily a representative and competition-worthy display piece. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand as pictured.
