Collector’s Piece: Prehnite and Quartz with Mica from Meigu Co., China

Excavated in 2017, this is one of the few pieces discovered by my miner’s friend in a small pocket which was so deep and narrow that could only fit one person at a time for mining, so precious!  We do not see specimen of this quality anymore from the Meigu Co. since 2018.  Yellow-green colored Prehnite nestled in a matrix of water-clear Quartz points, they are perfectly formed spheres, rare and impressive!  Orangey yellow colored Mica phantoms can be clearly seen by naked eyes due to high transparency of the Quartz crystals, adding interest and aesthetics.  This supreme 3-dimensional mounded Prehnite and Quartz specimen is a classic beauty, remarkable for the species and locality.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
