Aesthetic specimen from the world class Daye Copper Mine comprises of several gemmy, scalenohedral Calcite with distinct symmetrical form and superb luster. Excavated in 2020, the Calcite crystals exhibit a romantic pink color due to red Hematite tinting, they are perfectly terminated with the largest crystal measuring 6.4cm in length, impressive! Smaller Calcite crystals interlinked to form as spheres of Calcite flowers, ascending uniqueness and beauty. The Calcite crystals look particularly stunning under longwave UV lighting 365nm, which present a bright pink fluorescence, so stunning! The Daye Copper Mine is known for its magnificent, great variety of mineral combo specimens, occasionally it produces some of the finest Calcite specimen in the world, and this large cabinet specimen measuring 9.8cm across is a marvelous example.
