The Fluorite crystals have modified deep purple edges and corners composed of small, stepped surfaces. The color of the Fluorite varies from light purple, lavender to deep violet. The translucent silvery to white colored micro crystals of Quartz have a mounded, spherical habit and is quite sparkly.
Fluorite of these kinds from Qinglong Mine started appearing in the market in early 2019 and soon became popular amongst the Chinese mineral collectors so not everyone gets to see these beauties, at all! The locals called it "The QR Code Fluorite" as some of them do have surfaces resembling the QR code. I only brought back 35 pieces as most of them were either very damaged or not aesthetic enough for me.
Fluorite's Maintenance Advice:
Fluorite is extremely susceptible to sunlight, some colours fade slower than others, but they all fade under sunlight. The effect also happens under normal halogen light. Therefore keep Fluorite in a darker part of the home, away from direct sunlight unless it needs to be cleansed and charged. To cleanse and charge Fluorite, just pop it on a windowsill out of direct sunlight or even on a cloudy day for 10 minutes. If it doesn't feel like that is enough, you can use reiki or sound too.
