This is a very beautiful and complexly formed Fluorite specimen excavated from the world’s famous Yaogangxian Mine of China. Mined in 2011, the sharp, perfectly terminated Fluorite cube which display highly visible lines of deep purple color on the edges and a deep purple center is simply stunning! The distinct phantom of the Fluorite that is quite apparent when viewing from various vantage points, enhancing the great geometric effects of the crystals. For added aesthetics, micro crystals of yellow colored Mica “decorated” the Fluorite in places. The gem quality Fluorite is lustrous and the color is a rich purple. Associated with well-formed, metallic Arsenopyrite and milky Quart crystal points, this is for sure a representative Yaogangxian Fluorite combo piece in excellent condition. As a bonus, the Fluorite crystals are fluorescent to longwave UV lighting 365nm which exhibit a bright blue color. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.

Fluorite's Maintenance Advice:
Fluorite is extremely susceptible to sunlight, some colors fade slower than others, but they all fade under sunlight. The effect also happens under normal halogen light. Therefore keep Fluorite in a darker part of the home, away from direct sunlight.
