Dumortierite included Quartz from Vaca Morta Quarry, Brazil

Acquired in July 2022, a complete floater Quartz specimen with countless needles of Dumortierite inclusions from Vaca Morta Quarry, Brazil.  The sapphire blue color is so vivid and saturated, even better in person than photos and video.  These fantastic Dumortierite crystals are both included in and coated the Quartz crystals occuring on the bottom of the specimen.  Associated with aggregates of creamy white Dolomite crystals which exhibit a crystal shape of rhombohedral contact twins, ascending uniqueness and complexity.  Most examples of Dumortierite included Quartz from Brazil are relatively small and this specimen is considered a large size class for the species and locality, it’s measuring 6.2cm across, outstanding!  The Quartz crystals are highly lustrous and transparent for anyone to view these richly clustered, bright blue Dumortierite, simply mesmerizing!  As a bonus, it is in perfect condition.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
