Calcite with Marcarsite Inclusion from Daye Copper Mine, China

A very fine and extremely rare Calcite specimen from an old 2010 find at the Fengjiashan Mine of China.  Bundles of Calcite scalenohedron are partially included with silvery colored Marcarsite micro crystals. The creamy yellow colored Calcite crystals have very interesting and unique floral shaped growth which exhibit scalenohedral twinning in symmetrical form.  They are exceedingly lustrous which display a bright orange-red color under longwave UV lighting 365nm, impressive!  The Daye Copper Mine is known for its magnificent, great variety of mineral combo specimens, occasionally it produces some of the finest Calcite specimen in the world like this example.  A fascinating Chinese Calcite of a staggering size of 15.3cm in length!  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
