This gorgeous new find of stark jet black Smoky Quartz is from a July 2021 discovery at one of the most beautiful and remote locations in China – the Wulian Mountains.  Like the true Alpine Smoky Quartz, the luster of the Smoky Quartz is exceedingly vitreous and the prism faces exhibit geometric, horizontal striations that is truly beautiful!  It has just enough accent of a contrasting milky-white Feldspar micro crystals to be dramatic, and presents very elegantly.  As a bonus, it is a complete floater in supreme condition.  Alpine Smoky Quart of this well-formed quality are very rare in the Chinese mineral world, they are definitely rare and desirable.  Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
