Mordenite with Stilbite and Celadonite from Jalgaon District, India
Dimension: 12.5cm x 7.8cm x 5.8cm
Weight: 406g
Locality: Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India
A first-class large Mordernite specimen from the famous Jalgaon District in India and it’s a complete floater. Acquired in 2017, the perfect and giangantic creamy white Mordenite sphere measures 5.8cm across which displays fine sprays of radial crystal cluster that look like a snowball (or ice-cream for me haha :D), outstanding! The light yellow toned Stilbite crystals interlinked to form a wonderful cluster next to and around the sides of the Mordernite sphere to make a perfect appearance. Some of them are green Celadonite included and they are clearly visible to the naked eye due to its great transparency. What I love most is the “carpet” of grass-green Celadonite micro crystal aesthetically dusted the Mordernite sphere with flower petal shaped Stilbite emerging from the ground, like a beautiful garden, mesmerizing! Additionally, the Mordenite ball exhibit a green fluorescence under UV lighting (365 nm) with a long phosphorescence emission as shown on the video, so interesting! This is for sure a top quality Indian Zoelite materials of large cabinet size and exceptional beauty. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
