From one of the most well known localities in the world comes this gorgeous museum quality combination Fluorite specimen from the Qinglong Mine in China. This large cabinet specimen measuring 15cm across is full of contrast, a perfect miky druzy Quartz crystals and purple Fluorite crystals composition. The perfectly formed Fluorite cubes display the most wonderful color zoning and the most desired, very saturated royal purple color, mesmerizing! Each Fluorite crystal has very distinct deep purple rims that is a signature and representative feature of the species from this world-class locality. Complementing the Fluorites are druzy Quartz crystals intergrown to form in spherical shape, fantastic! The Fluorite crystals display a bright blue fluorescence under UV lighting (365 nm) for added aesthetics. Comes with a high quality copper-wired display stand.
Fluorite of these kinds from Qinglong Mine started appearing in the market in early 2019 and soon became popular amongst the Chinese mineral collectors so not everyone gets to see these beauties, at all! The locals called it "The QR Code Fluorite" as some of them do have surfaces resembling the QR code.
Fluorite's Maintenance Advice:
Fluorite is extremely susceptible to sunlight, some colours fade slower than others, but they all fade under sunlight. The effect also happens under normal halogen light. Therefore keep Fluorite in a darker part of the home, away from direct sunlight unless it needs to be cleansed and charged. To cleanse and charge Fluorite, just pop it on a windowsill out of direct sunlight or even on a cloudy day for 10 minutes. If it doesn't feel like that is enough, you can use reiki or sound too.
