Several hemispherical clusters of Barite (Baryte) in a medium yellowish-brown color, overgrown on perfectly terminated Smoky Quartz excavated in the Huanggang Mine in around 1993. The long, slightly tapered, needle-like Quartz crystals are very attractive and fully crystallized with a gem-transparent core and faces composed of smaller Quartz crystal growths. Astonishing and very sculptural!
