A beautiful and rare Herkimer Diamond cluster composed of many small, interlinked, completely transparent DT Herkimer Diamonds from New York of USA.  It exhibits the signature 18 facets, glass-clear and are exceedingly lustrous, magnificent!  Comes with a high quality acrylic display box.
 
These are all from a good lot acquired by my father at least 20 years ago, when he visited the States for business.  It is impossible to buy top quality pieces of this locale from the mineral market nowadays.
 
The first discoveries were made in the Middleville village and in the city of Little Falls in the late 18th century and soon became widely recognized.  The rougher faces are where it was hand mined from the rock.  This is a complete 100% natural crystal with no polishing, the beautiful facets are naturally formed, unlike most of the fake Herkimer Diamonds in the market perfectly polished into 18 faces.
